A not-for-profit provider is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent full-time post at its residential aged care home in Coffs Harbour, on the New South Wales North Coast. Mornings, afternoons and nights are all on the roster, and you report to the Care Manager. Expect to provide excellent clinical nursing care, take charge of the personal care team on shift and form trusting bonds with residents and their families under a relationship-centred approach.
Sponsorship on an initial 482 visa is available, and eligible applicants have pathways to permanent residency.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration, together with a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Nursing experience of at least 2 years, ideally including aged care
- Familiarity with aged care legislation and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understanding of how AN-ACC assessments are carried out
- Strong clinical knowledge about ageing and the health conditions linked to it
- Confident to coach, mentor and back up care staff
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, along with emotional intelligence
- A positive, team-minded approach
- Competent IT skills
