Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Looking for mechanic work in Auckland? A vehicle compliance centre there handles inspections, servicing and repairs across a full range of vehicles, including WOF checks, and is recruiting experienced car mechanics for permanent full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Day to day you would strip imported cars for inspection, service vehicles, complete mechanical repairs and collect parts from suppliers.
Some computer knowledge is expected for recording invoices, WOF inspections and repair time. The centre is an accredited employer, which links to AEWV sponsorship, yet it asks for New Zealand citizenship or residency, which means the post is open to applicants already in New Zealand who hold it.
For a mechanic's application, set out your CV around the vehicles you service, the repairs you complete and any inspection work you have done. Use Build AI CV to put together a mechanic CV that is easy to read.
