Key Responsibilities
- Ask customers what they want from their haircut, style and grooming
- Use scissors, clippers and razors to cut and style
- Create fades and tapers as well as classic and modern looks
- Shape beards and moustaches and give shaves
- Recommend hair care, grooming advice and suitable products
- Keep tools, equipment and workstations clean and disinfected, and uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Handle payments with friendly, professional service
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate III in Barbering or Hairdressing, an equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience
- Proven time spent working as a barber
- Strong with scissors, clippers, fades and beard grooming
- Clear communicator with good customer service
- Able to work alone and as part of a team, reliable and professionally presented
- Available to work weekends as part of a roster
