A Hamilton shop run by its owner is looking for a barber with experience to serve a growing client list, working next to the owner. The business is growing, and the job leaves space to grow with it. It will suit someone who can manage their own time and get on with the work with little supervision in a team drawn from many cultures.
Weekly hours run from 35 to 40. The employer is accredited under the AEWV sponsorship scheme, with visa support if a suitable candidate requires it.

Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the shop as needed
- Cut and trim hair to a good standard, and quickly
- Shave beards
- Trim beards and moustaches
- Advise on hair products
- Suggest haircuts that suit the customer
- Keep equipment, the workstation and the shop clean between cuts
- Work with little supervision in a multicultural team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Skilled in hair styling and settings
- At least 1 year of barbershop experience
- Able to do a quality zero fade and beard trim every time, as proven in your work
- Experience using blades for beard shaving
- Good communication skills
- Well presented and professional
