A private hospital in Sydney is recruiting registered nurses for its established intensive care unit, and nurses who have previously worked in intensive care or critical care are the ones it wants. Permanent positions are open on both full-time and part-time hours.
Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified nurses, and the hospital will look at each person's eligibility, its own requirements and Australian immigration law. Applications are for nurses already in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Give complete care to patients who are seriously ill with complex needs
- Do detailed patient assessments and monitor them throughout the shift
- Recognise and react quickly to a change in a patient's condition
- Handle complex clinical situations and support emergency interventions
- Work with intensivists, doctors and the wider team of professionals
- Keep care records accurate, follow best-practice standards, and help keep the unit a positive place to learn and improve
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered nurse, current AHPRA registration, with previous experience in intensive care or critical care
- Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or intensive care (highly desirable)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a collaborative approach and a passion for patient-centred care
