A Project Engineer is needed in Brisbane by a utility and civil contractor that is growing across Queensland. The post covers pipe and civil projects, planned and then followed all the way to handover, including deep sewer and water mains.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for planning and reviewing utility and civil works involving sewer, water or gas
- Create the technical documents for tenders: drawings, quantities and specifications
- Control schedules and budgets and report on cost
- Be the point of contact for clients, asset owners, authorities and subcontractors
- Advise site teams on technical issues and deal with variations and RFIs
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, and support the development of SWMS, ITPs and risk assessments
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, already gained
- A work history in utility, pipeline or civil construction
- Knowledge of the Australian Standards
- Knowledge of what Queensland water and sewer authorities require
- Knowledge of concrete work, in-situ and precast
- Handling the ordering of materials, plant and equipment hire
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
- Current driver's licence for Queensland
- Applicant holds full Australian work rights
- Desirable: experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software, and a White Card
