Station Mechanic
Visa sponsorship
Automotive · Broome, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Mechanics who love practical, outdoor work might like this one. A pastoral company is looking for two skilled, experienced people to look after the trucks, vehicles, motorbikes and equipment on its cattle stations in remote northern Western Australia. Station life is part of the appeal.
Heat and humidity are extreme in the region, so you must be fit enough to work in them. Alcohol and drug testing may be carried out from time to time, and nobody on the station may be intoxicated. The company offers sponsorship to skilled and eligible applicants who meet the role's criteria, and it asks that only applicants with a long-term commitment apply.
For this kind of job, put your trade certificate, your fleet and machinery experience and your licences first. In Kampala you can prepare a mechanic's CV on Build AI CV to keep it clear.
