Clients in oil and gas, mining, rail, civil construction, health and defence rely on a Western Australian workforce company for skilled tradespeople, and it now needs qualified Boilermakers, Fabricators, Welders and Pipefitters across the Perth metro area and regional WA. The work mixes heavy structural steel with pipe spools and piping systems, workshop fabrication and welding by TIG and flux-core.

Key Responsibilities
- Work from isometrics, shop drawings, work packs and fabrication details
- Weld, fit, assemble, fabricate and repair to project specifications
- Pipefitters: build pipe spools and piping systems, prepare fit-ups, install supports, valves and flanges
- Welders: use TIG on exotic, duplex, carbon and stainless materials, or FCAW on structural components, following approved welding procedures
- Boilermakers: assemble and fabricate tanks, hoppers, chutes, platework, structural steel and heavy industrial components
- Look after workshop equipment, keep your area clean and join pre-starts and safety inspections
- Report quality issues, defects, incidents and hazards at once, and pass weld tests
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade certificate that fits the role: Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator, Welding Trade, Pipe Fitting or equivalent
- Experience in workshop fabrication and the construction industry; reads engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Proven record of meeting fabrication tolerances and quality requirements, with a strong grasp of workshop safety
- Construction Industry White Card preferred; desirable: first aid, EWP, forklift, confined space, working at heights, rigging or dogging tickets, AS/NZS welder qualifications
- Fit for manual handling, PPE, overtime and shift work when required
