A retirement has left a vacancy for a Joinery Detailer at a high-end, made-to-order joinery firm in the far south of the South Island. The firm has supplied every kind of joinery for over 30 years, and the post is full-time and permanent for a suitably qualified person.
The working week is 40-44 hours. To be considered you need a trade qualification with a minimum of kitchen cabinetry, or three years of demonstrated experience in joinery-related work. The firm is an AEWV employer (Accredited Employer Work Visa) and can sponsor the right international candidates into permanent employment in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
- Read technical drawings and documents and interpret what they require
- Plan each project
- Manage each project
- Resolve issues so that the project is delivered on time
- Coordinate with builders, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Deal with customers, architects and designers, and communicate with the management team
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification with a minimum of kitchen cabinetry, or three years of demonstrated experience in joinery-related work
- Understanding of Microvellum (or similar) woodworking software
- Strong work ethic and excellent management of time
- Effective communication with customers, architects and designers, plus planning and problem-solving ability
