Property owners, investors, insurers and occupiers use a Sydney consultancy that specialises in property risk and building work, and it is now recruiting a Building Consultant or Senior Building Consultant. The assets are a broad spread, from commercial and retail to industrial and alternative.
Your work would include due diligence, condition surveys of buildings, make good (dilapidations) reports and advice, on significant, complex property assets. Visa sponsorship may be considered for outstanding candidates.
Ugandan surveyors and engineers can set out inspection and reporting experience on the CV and produce it through Build AI CV.
Key Responsibilities
- Do due diligence and survey the condition of buildings
- Draft make good (dilapidations) reports
- Advise the people who own, invest in, insure or occupy property
Requirements & Eligibility
- Degree in Building Surveying (UK), Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years working in building consultancy, surveying or property advisory
- Strong inspection, investigation and problem-solving skills, plus clear, concise and technically robust report-writing ability
- Confidence with clients and industry professionals
- MRICS or similar accreditation (or working towards it) is highly regarded
