Key Responsibilities
- Fix and upkeep the buildings, indoors and outdoors, from small repairs to large-scale construction projects
- Notice defects early and report them
- Answer tenant requests quickly and with professionalism
- Do planned preventative maintenance
- Help with improvement works and design practical ways to maintain the buildings long term
- Keep work areas tidy and safe and the work to a high standard
- Support supervision of external trades as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Practical experience in building maintenance, general repairs or a relevant trade
- Pride in your work and a strong eye for detail
- Confident with tools and good at practical solutions to maintenance problems
- Reliable and proactive, alone or with others
- Well presented, communicating clearly with tenants, colleagues and contractors
- Willing to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks
- Stable employment history, a wish for a long-term opportunity and availability for a rotating roster that includes Saturdays
