Carpet & Flooring Installer

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Flooring installers of every level are wanted by a Christchurch company with a solid reputation that is now expanding. It needs experienced carpet fitters, senior installers able to head up jobs, and eager people ready to train, and it is open to junior installers, apprentices already in place and those hoping to begin one. More than one applicant could be hired.

Hours are permanent and full-time, at a minimum of 37.5 a week and usually 40–42, mostly Monday to Friday and occasionally longer when the job needs it. Seniors carry a job from first arrival to completion and look after another installer or a small crew, while trainees are supervised and given duties to match their skills. People applying under the AEWV are welcome, including those requiring employer support (sponsorship) for an Accredited Employer Work Visa; employment is subject to the appropriate New Zealand work rights.

Show on the CV the floors you have laid, and a DIT certificate from Kampala if relevant. Build AI CV can lay out a flooring installer's CV neatly.
