Commercial construction work in Perth could suit you if you are an experienced ceiling fixer or gypsum board installer. A trades recruiter is hiring for long-term, full-time roles on major projects and wants genuine interior systems installers who can read drawings, set out their own work and install without close supervision. Commercial experience gained in New Zealand, across suspended ceilings, steel stud partitions, plasterboard and interior systems, is especially valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Install suspended ceilings of T-bar and grid type
- Install plasterboard ceilings
- Assemble acoustic ceiling systems, framing, furring channels and suspension systems
- Construct steel stud walls and partitions
- Fix plasterboard (gypsum board), including fire-rated and acoustic systems
- Build bulkheads and specialist interior features
- Read plans, measure and set out the work, then complete it independently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven commercial work in ceilings, partitions, plasterboard and interior systems
- Comfortable reading and interpreting plans
- Able to take measurements and set work out
- Able to work without supervision
- Past projects in New Zealand, such as hospitals, schools, apartments, offices, high-rise or other major commercial builds, will be of particular interest
- Strong spoken English
- A good work history, and clarity at interview about what you personally completed
