Earthworks Machine Operator
Onshore applicants only
Visa sponsorship
Construction · Queenstown, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Trading the red-earth dust for a Queenstown worksite could suit a skilled machine operator. An award-winning civil and earthworks contractor with 25 years in the region is recruiting equipment operators for its earthworks team.
Expect to shift earth, fill, cart and compact, and to form sites up for retaining walls and for residential and commercial schemes. The post is permanent with dependable hours, from a minimum of 30 to a typical 50 a week. Applicants who are not yet living in the area need to be willing to move there before applying.
Immigration NZ accreditation lets the employer sponsor work visas. Applicants need New Zealand work rights, which means being a citizen, a resident or the holder of a current open work visa.
Tickets and licences matter in earthworks, so lead your English CV with the WTR endorsement and Class 2 licence, and use Build AI CV to polish an operator CV.
