Fitter / Turner and Welder

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $36 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Cranes and lifting equipment are the specialty of a New Zealand business started in 2017, and its Christchurch workshop is looking for a Fitter / Turner and Welder (Crane Technician) who has both skills. The team is tight-knit, the work includes support for field servicing, and the standards are an uncompromisingly high level of workmanship, honest customer relationships and a can-do attitude.

On the visa side, applicants need either the legal right to work in New Zealand or willingness to complete the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) process, the route through which an employer sponsorship is arranged.

A tradesperson's CV should list machine types, welding processes, certificates and years served. A fitter trained at a Kampala technical institute can add the DIT certificate. Build AI CV can lay out your fitter-welder CV.
