Heavy Excavator Operator
Visa sponsorship
Construction · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $35 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A scrap metal recycling yard in Auckland needs an experienced, safety-conscious Heavy Excavator Operator for its permanent crew. This is not simple digging. The machine is a 30-tonne tracked excavator, and the work runs from breaking down heavy structural steel to loading bulk export containers using three attachments.
The job is full-time, with a weekly minimum of 30 hours and hours of up to 50 per week being usual. Potential AEWV sponsorship support is mentioned for highly qualified international applicants, whether already onshore or ready to move.
A Kampala or Entebbe applicant should keep the CV specific by naming the machines and attachments you have operated and any licence you hold. You can draft a focused CV on Build AI CV before you send it.
