A Perth painting business that has traded for over 25 years across residential and commercial work is looking for a Team Leader to run crews in its Painting Division. The ideal candidate comes from painting and decorating in commercial construction. The post is permanent and full-time in the Perth metro area, and it suits skilled people who can show work at an extremely high standard.
Precise detail, on-time delivery, specialty finishes and wallcoverings and strong customer relationships are what the business is proud of. The Team Leader reports directly to the Painting Manager and works with the team across numerous sites. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Painting Manager.
- Motivate the team and work with them across numerous sites.
- Manage projects and the people on them.
- Solve problems, or work with the Painting Manager towards a positive outcome when they arise.
- Keep a safe work environment.
- Comply with OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter with an apprenticeship completed (a must).
- Leading hand or 2IC track record.
- Project and team management ability.
- Clear communication and good organisation.
- Problem-solving ability, including working with the Painting Manager when things go wrong.
- Attention to detail that keeps quality under control.
- Reading and understanding of project drawings (floor plans/elevations).
- Manual driver's license and White card.
- No subcontractors or ABN holders.
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket.
- Desirable: First Aid.
- Desirable: airless spraying experience.
- A current National Criminal History Check.
