Experienced abseilers can apply for one of five permanent, full-time roles with a commercial property maintenance company that has operated in New Zealand for over 20 years. The job is maintenance of properties at height. It is a multi-region position, so your time is divided between greater Auckland and Christchurch according to the work, and regular travel with overnight stays is part of it, plus the occasional short trip elsewhere.
A 40-hour week is usual, worked either 7am to 5pm Monday to Saturday or as night shifts, 6pm to 2am Monday to Thursday, with a contract minimum of 70 hours a fortnight and rosters given about a week in advance. The company is an accredited employer able to sponsor overseas workers, and IRATA-qualified abseilers who are currently overseas and want to work in New Zealand are invited to get in touch.
Ugandan technicians can put IRATA level, rope access hours and height safety training at the top of the CV, and draft it in Build AI CV.
