Trainer and Assessor

Visa sponsorship

Education · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

A civil and mining training company in Perth wants trainers and assessors who already hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and who like handing their experience on to others. Each trainee works one-on-one with an instructor, in practice and on a live, operating mine site, and the end goal is an operator who is safe, confident and employable.

Two jobs are on offer. The first is a 1x Civil Trainer & Assessor post on Monday-Friday, 8-12 hour shifts, with alternating Saturdays available. The second is a 1x Dozer / Excavator Trainer post (Production mining D11 & 3600) on the same Monday-Friday, 8-12 hour pattern, shared between 2 mine sites. As the site is around 60 minutes north of Perth CBD and non-FIFO, you finish each day at home; FIFO Rigid Haul Truck training is optional. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, and people after full-time, casual, part-time or job share work are welcome to apply.
