A fast-growing FMCG business wants an ambitious, commercially driven Account Manager in Sydney, working a hybrid pattern. Looking after an existing portfolio is only part of it. The person hired will win new business, grow accounts already on the books and carry real ownership of their territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after a portfolio of independent customers and key accounts, and grow it.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and find commercial opportunities.
- Find extra sales in existing accounts and open up new business.
- Monitor sales results and meet agreed targets.
- Share market and customer insights with the wider business.
- Represent the brand well, own your territory and push for results.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercially hungry, proactive and ambitious.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, wholesale, field sales or a related environment, and a strong understanding of retail and independent customers.
- Proven experience in account management, sales or business development.
- A strong commercial mindset, focused on sales growth.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Confidence to identify opportunities and turn them into results.
- Hands-on and proactive, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ambition to take the next step in your career.
