A Baker is wanted by a well-known bakery in a booming coastal town in Western Australia's South West. You would work with the Bread Team Leader and Production Manager, and the job is an opportunity to build knowledge and a career in baking.
Hours run from 2am to 12pm over 4 days of the week (Monday to Thursday), a 38 hour week that can include overtime if necessary, and weekends are free. The employer says sponsorship is available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Mixing white doughs and shaping sourdough
- Running a three level bread oven to bake sourdough
- Rolling puff pastry
- Controlling stock
- Understanding the fermentation of sourdough and croissant dough, and applying that understanding
Requirements & Eligibility
- A real passion for creating quality products for the cabinet, shown through past work
- Team experience
- Experience of preparation, service and kitchen management
- Experience of volume bakery environments
- Trade qualifications in commercial cooking or the equivalent, formal ones
- Excellent communication
- HACCP experience would be desirable, with a strong emphasis on food hygiene
- Experience running a commercial bread oven
