Melbourne's inner west is the location of an established bakery and hospitality business with a loyal customer base, and it wants a reliable, experienced Baker to take over its overnight bake. If you enjoy the calm of a night shift and want the shelves to be full and beautiful at dawn, this is the kind of work it offers.
The shift is roughly 10 pm to 5 am, six days a week, with Wednesdays off; exact hours are to be agreed and some flexibility is needed. The baker works independently and owns the whole bake: bread, pastries and donuts. An immediate start is possible, the post includes 4 weeks of annual leave, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate (if applicable).

Key Responsibilities
- Handle the overnight bake independently, from the first mix to the last tray

Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience as a baker in a commercial bakery or a hospitality setting
- Confident when working alone
- Able to manage your own time and workflow
- Pastry knowledge is a big plus
- Reliable, punctual and consistent, as the team depends on the bake every morning
- Available to work over the Christmas period
