A catering kitchen at a wedding and events venue near Wollongong is advertising for a full-time Chef de Partie to start immediately. The venue is one of five owned by the same group and prepares European food for weddings and events, with large, fast-moving services.
The group would like a chef who sticks around and grows, and with five venues the ladder reaches Sous Chef. Subclass 482 Skills in Demand sponsorship is available to eligible candidates. Apply with a CV and a handful of plating photos.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after your own section during prep and service at weddings and events.
- Plan menus, tastings and seasonal changes together with the Head Chef.
- Stay on top of food safety.
- Control ordering and stock.
- Train and lead junior chefs and kitchen hands.
- Cater at the group's other venues.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Culinary experience of 3 years, part of it as a CDP or a strong Demi.
- Plating experience at large scale without compromising quality, and a food safety certification (or the ability to get it within 30 days of starting).
- Drivers License required.
