Chefs with a Cert 3 or higher may be interested in this Shepparton vacancy at a golf club. The club sits in a thriving tourist town in regional Victoria, where visitors enjoy snow and water skiing, boating, fishing and hiking, and where daily life is comfortable.
The trade is growing, and the new Chef would join the head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands in a dynamic team, reporting to the Head Chef. There is an immediate start. Applicants must hold valid Australian work rights. Sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare menu items
- Train and supervise new or less experienced team members
- Follow hygiene regulations
- Check the quality of dishes from preparation to presentation
- Delegate tasks and supervise the cooks, stepping in as needed
- Monitor food stock and place orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
- A minimum of 2 years in a commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability, mixing weekdays and weekends to support a 7-day operation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia
