Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000 - $85,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
An AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent international culinary qualification, is the entry point for this Sydney chef job. The employer is a premier venue in inner Sydney with a high-end restaurant, an open-air terrace bar and a late-night club lounge, and it wants a dedicated, experienced Chef on a permanent full-time basis.
The kitchen cooks for big events and feeds the bar late into the night, so shifts cover dinner, weekend brunch, private functions and late trading. Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible visa holders may apply, and sponsoring opportunities (TSS 482) may be considered for qualified candidates who satisfy all Home Affairs requirements. Applications close on 8 November 2026.
Make the qualification, the kitchens you have worked in and your late-night availability easy to spot. In Kampala you can assemble a restaurant chef CV on Build AI CV to do it.
