A hotel in a coastal setting that travellers know, in the South West of Western Australia, is looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager. You would lead from the floor, delight guests and handle daily operations in a high-performing restaurant with confidence. The role suits anyone who enjoys a busy venue.
The job is full-time and permanent. Availability is needed for evenings, weekends, school and public holidays. The employer will consider sponsorship for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the front of house team during each shift and keep service seamless with the kitchen
- Keep venue standards and strategic goals on track with the General and Operations Manager
- Control stock and ordering, curb waste, and train, roster and assess staff
- Take responsibility for cash and daily financial transactions, support budgeting and watch the cost of goods, payroll and efficiency
- Follow health, safety, food handling and RSA regulations
- Apply venue policies, procedures and house rules and contribute to local marketing and community relationships
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 3-5 years' hospitality management experience, including at least 2 years managing a restaurant
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management or business is preferred, with equivalent experience considered
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (preferred)
- Approved Manager certification MLP1 (preferred)
- Good computer skills, especially POS systems
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving, a customer service mindset and a keen eye for detail
- Handles pressure in a fast-paced environment and is always well presented
- Essential: availability for evenings, weekends, school and public holidays
