The group behind this venue runs a well-established, community-focused pub in the south-east of Sydney, and it wants a people-focused Duty Manager who gets involved. Loyal regulars keep the bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms busy, and the group cares about governance, clear standards and developing its leaders.
Shifts are yours to own, covering front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Applications are invited from experienced Duty Managers and from senior supervisors ready to broaden their leadership. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise trading on shift in the bar, the gaming area, functions and the guest rooms
- Look after venue openings, closings, cash handling and reporting
- Back up functions and events, and help promote the venue locally through in-venue promotions
- Help with stock orders, stock control and liaison with suppliers, and help build rosters that use labour efficiently
- Support compliance in the venue, covering RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety
- Develop and coach the team, keeping service standards and the guest experience strong
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience of at least 1 year in a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor role
- Experience with gaming, TAB and KENO
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG certification
- Strong leadership presence
- Strong communication skills
- Calm, organised and focused on solutions
- At ease balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience highly regarded; functions, guest-room operations, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing experience favourable
