Pan, grill and cold larder are the sections that a busy hotel pub in the country town of Dubbo wants covered by a senior cook or chef with real experience. Working days, nights and weekends, the cook supports the Head Chef and guides junior kitchen staff on shift.
The pub says sponsorship is available for the right candidate. Applicants should be already living in Australia and able to come in for a trial.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow menu guidelines, recipes and the Head Chef's instructions when preparing and serving food
- Track stock and keep wastage low
- Demonstrate techniques and advise junior colleagues
- Supervise kitchen attendants and apprentices
- Keep work areas and food storage clean and hygienic, in line with food safety rules
- Take part in receiving and inspecting deliveries
- Cook for special dietary requirements, contribute to menus, handle food safely and report incidents to the Head Chef
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience on pan and grill sections, and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery
- A skills assessment for cook or chef
- Living in Australia, available to come in for a trial, with strong teamwork and communication skills
