Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with the day-to-day management of the kitchen
- Lead the brigade and supervise it through busy services
- Work wherever the kitchen needs you, with grill and pasta as the main sections
- Help to develop new dishes and seasonal menus and to improve existing recipes
- Train, mentor and support junior chefs
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and organisation
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 1 year as a Sous Chef in a busy à la carte restaurant
- Strong experience in high-volume kitchens
- Excellent cooking skills, especially on grill and pasta
- Strong leadership and communication skills
