Modern Asian dining, an aquarium and a stylish, popular dining room: that is the setting for four waitstaff vacancies in central Christchurch. The restaurant wants experienced people who give outstanding customer service, serve food and beverages through its selling system and enjoy showing some personality while recognising and meeting each guest's needs.
The job is permanent and full time, with a minimum of 30 hours a week, and nights, weekends and the busy summer months are part of the roster. As an accredited employer, the restaurant can sponsor suitable people and support them through the immigration process if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and explain the menu and what is on offer
- Go to regular in-house training on beverage, food and service, and complete each module
- Take orders and bring them to the table
- Clear and reset tables, keep the restaurant clean, process orders through the POS and take electronic and cash payments
- Apply NZ liquor laws, communicating with management and guests to enforce licensing requirements
- Promote products and services in line with restaurant policy
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least six months in a similar role, or a Level 2 or 3 Diploma qualification
- Solid knowledge of NZ liquor laws
- Free for nights, weekends and busy summer months, and motivated to work hard and learn the restaurant's offerings and service standards
